A beautiful example of a Tuareg Berber Leather Camel Bag and tent flap. The Tuareg people set up trade routes along the Sahara and traveled often, sleeping in tents. This flap was used to help protect the inhabitants from the harsh desert terrain of the Sahara. It is beautifully decorated leather, strings and cords, featuring tassel accents. Hand-crafted and hand dyed leather.
